Radiating simplistic elegance in the middle of the Serengeti plains, Singita Sabora Tented Camp evokes a romantic Out of Africa adventure with six vintage tents dressed in classic Edwardian safari style. Creating the feel of a lavish Bedouin tent, each canvas cocoon offers opulent luxury complete with antique mahogany travel chests, Persian rugs and silk curtains. Sipping sundowners on the deck and gazing over the waterhole, you never know what you might see. At Sabora, we delight in creating delicious feasts using locally grown organic produce, coupled with vintage wines, in surprise settings. Imagine dining beneath a lamp-lit acacia or under the boughs of a large ‘Sausage’ tree, with starlit skies and the distant chorus of nocturnal creatures.

However, there is an abundance of wildlife year-round. The Serengeti, which is Africa’s No. 1 World Heritage Site, is also home to 25 species of large carnivores, 40 herbivore species and over 600 types of bird – including five endemic species, with an impressively large number of raptors that form the highest concentration on the continent. This is also where you’ll find a wide range of primates, such as the rare Patas and Colobus monkeys and prolific plant life and species.
