Barry Peiser, a Field Guide at Singita Kruger National Park was extremely fortunate to witness the following sighting of the Mountain Lion Pride with their seven new young cubs whilst conducting an African Safari.
Barry set out early in the morning to a rocky ridge where he suspected that the females were hiding the newly born cubs. As he neared the ridge a female suddenly appeared out of the bush followed by the seven little ones. As the female walked towards the vehicle followed by the cubs the last one started crying and the mother turned around to go and fetch her. She gently picked up the fragile cub in her jaws and proceeded to walk into the bush on the west.
