Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda
High in the clouds, at an altitude of between two and four thousand metres above sea-level, lies the spectacularly scenic Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
Located in the south-western of Uganda, Mgahinga is the smallest park at 33.7km2 and is home to ancient tribe of Batwa Pygmies.
Gorillas can be tracked all year, although they are easier to track in the dry season. The migratory birds visit during the wet season.
