Saseka Tented Camp is the newest lodge in the Thornybush Collection, offering a truly unique, luxurious experience in a Big Five nature reserve adjacent to the Kruger National Park. Perched on the seasonal Monwana River, each spacious safari tent overlooks the dry riverbed, where you can expect animal sightings right from the comfort of your own private deck.

There are eight luxury tents, each with their own private deck and pool – perfect for couples looking for a romantic safari experience, where privacy and comfort are assured.

Accommodation
Saseka Tented Camp is unique in the style of the accommodation offered by any of the other lodges in the Thornybush Collection. Meticulous attention to detail has been paid to ensure sustainable design and comfortable yet luxurious interiors, which maximise access guests have to the untouched wilderness which surrounds the lodge.

Saseka is considered a tented camp, but do not let the word ‘tent’ put you off! These are spacious, reinforced, canvas safari tents on permanent foundations with glass doors opening up onto your own private deck and pool, complete with sun loungers and chairs.

Each tent has been designed in a way to guarantee the level of comfort expected from a 5-star luxury safari lodge; with air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers and a host of other amenities which will make your stay here with us unforgettable.

There are only eight safari tents, sleeping two people each, and the Leadwood Villa which sleeps 4 people in two tents, with the possibility of adding extra beds for children.
