Day 1
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your dedicated private guide for this adventure will be waiting to warmly welcome you and drive you to Arusha Coffee Lodge.
Spend your 1 night stay at Arusha Coffee Lodge in a Plantation Suite. Your stay includes breakfast.

Arusha Coffee Lodge
The aptly named Arusha Coffee Lodge lies hidden amongst the sprawling grounds of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantation below the rugged peaks of Mt Meru. Guests can unwind in one of the lodge’s prized plantation suites, which each boast a romantic four-poster bed draped in Egyptian cotton linen, a split-level sitting area, ensuite bathroom, mosquito nets, ceiling fans, an open fireplace, personal bar and private veranda, which overlook rows and rows of berry-laden coffee bushes.
Guests can enjoy scrumptious meals in the Coffee Lodge lounge or sip on their favourite drinks in the bar area. A boutique store, swimming pool and garden terrace add to guest delight. For additional costs optional adventures include a tour at the Shanga Shangaa coffee plantation, as well as visits to the Museum of Natural History, the Maasai market on Faya Road and the world’s only tanzanite mine. A game drive in Mt Meru National Park, accompanied by a delicious picnic lunch, makes a wonderful outing.

Day 2
Today, tuck into a delicious breakfast, in the company of your guide, who will discuss any interests and your expectations for your safari. Afterwards, you will drive to &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge.
Marvel at nature’s beauty during your 2 night stay at andBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge in an elegant Stilted Treehouse with ensuite bathroom with bath, outdoor shower and viewing deck. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, laundry, twice daily game drives, one night game drive and a scenic bicycle ride exploring Lake Manyara.

Day 3
Enjoy a leisurely afternoon bike ride through the nearby Mayoka community is hosted throughout by an expert &Beyond guide. Guests can cycle through this bustling village and interact with the friendly, local people. They may even cross paths with the nomadic Mang’ati tribe (also known as the Datooga tribe), adorned with traditional animal skin cloaks, textured skirts and colourful beads. Once your guests have left the village behind, they can peddle on a picturesque route to the lakeshore, where they can admire bright pink flocks of flamingos.
After dinner you will head out onto your night game drive. andBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is one of the few places in Tanzania where guests can experience evening game drives, and the opportunity to encounter sightings of nocturnal predators.

andBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge
Set in the heart of a mahogany forest, andBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is the only lodge in Lake Manyara National Park. The Lodge, which was designed to exert minimal impact on the environment, is situated in the remote southwestern region of the Park. Cradled in the boughs of ancient mahogany trees, ten stilted treehouse suites are a sophisticated blend of intimacy and romance, offering privacy and exclusivity. Each treehouse suite features generous decks suspended above the forest floor and large windows to invite the lush forest inside. The bathrooms have freestanding baths with a forest view and an outdoor shower. Overlooking a forest boma (outdoor dining area), guest areas are characterised by soaring spaces. An interactive kitchen allows guests to observe the preparation of delicious Pan African food that is enjoyed in the boma, on dining decks or on private viewing decks. Breakfasts and picnics are also served on the lakeshore.
WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT ANDBEYOND LAKE MANYARA TREE LODGE
- Before entering Lake Manyara National Park, be sure to stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint. Here, you can enjoy a picture-perfect view of Lake Manyara and the surrounding escarpment.
- Ask your guide to take you to the Maji Moto springs (Maji Moto means ‘hot water’ in Kiswahili). These hot water springs are a unique geological feature found nowhere else in Tanzania, and it is said that the water will boil an egg in 30 minutes!
- Spend some quality time with a Maasai warrior who will teach you how to build a fire using two sticks, and challenge you to a jumping and spear throwing competition!
Day 4 – 5
Indulge and explore at andBeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge during your 2 night stay in a Suite with ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. andBeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge
Perched on the edge of the Crater rim, andBeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge’s sumptuous safari suites present breath-taking views. Inspired in design by the Maasai mud and stick manyatta (homestead), this is without doubt one of the most architecturally spectacular safari lodges in Africa. Three separate and intimate camps are reminiscent of a bygone era totalling just 30 suites in all. Steeped in romance, each stilted, handcrafted mud and thatch suite is adorned with graceful antiques and grand chandeliers. The bedroom, sitting room and ensuite bathroom boast floor-to-ceiling glass windows, overlooking the magnificent Crater below. Ensuite bathrooms, with a centerpiece of red roses, feature huge showers and chandelier-lit bathtubs.
Personal butlers discreetly tend to guests’ every need, bringing tea in bed, stoking fireplaces and drawing luxurious baths. Described as “Maasai meets Versailles”, each camp has its own guest sitting and dining areas and viewing decks. The domed dining room, with its grand fireplace, turns every meal into a special occasion.

andBeyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp
Inspired by Tanzania’s annual Great Migration, andBeyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp is situated near one of the most famous fording points used by the wildebeest as the cross the Grumeti River in an area that is home to exceptional year-round resident wildlife. Rustic yet sophisticated, the intimate tents combine hues of natural grey with accents of natural stone and bone. All ten of the tented suites look out onto the Grumeti River and its resident pods of hippo, while sliding doors open out onto shaded private decks. Stone shower towers are open to the sun and stars. Two of the tents have been designed to cater for families travelling together and share and an enclosed entrance lobby that can allows easy access between the tents while maintaining complete privacy. A dramatic boma is the setting for open-air dinners with delicious food prepared in traditional stone ovens. A rim-flow swimming pool looks out onto the banks of the river.

andBeyond Klein’s Camp
Perched on the edge of the Kuka Hills, andBeyond Klein’s Camp features intimate safari accommodation – just ten cottages of local stone and makuti, with rich wooden floors and classic interiors. Each cottage has an ensuite bathroom and private veranda with breathtaking views over the surrounding valley. A diversity of resident wildlife, including huge elephant herds, can be viewed from everywhere in camp – even the kitchen boasts unforgettable views. The camp has a large, beautifully furnished bar and sitting area, a sparkling swimming pool, and a Safari Shop featuring locally-made Maasai crafts. Fresh vegetables picked from the Camp’s shamba (an organic African garden) create wholesome Pan African dishes. Dinners are served in the main dining area, which is graced by a large open fireplace, or enjoyed in a spectacular clearing deep in the heart of the African bush.

- Ask your guide to take you on a walk behind the Camp, up the escarpment. At one point along the way, you can see the Masai Mara to the north, the Serengeti to the west, and the &Beyond Klein’s Camp wilderness concession to the south.
- Enjoy a leisurely lunch in the camp’s shamba (vegetable garden), where lettuce, spinach, peppers, cucumbers, avocadoes, lemons, and a selection of herbs all grow. You can literally ‘pick’ your own salad and the chef will prepare you the most mouth-wateringly fresh lunch.
Day 8 – 9
Thrill in the excitement of safari during your night stay at andBeyond Serengeti Under Canvas in a Bedouin style tent with ensuite bathroom with outside bucket shower. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees and laundry.

Day 10
Today, we wave a fond farewell. After breakfast, you will be driven to the airstrip where you will take a flight back to Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will board your flight home.
